Linda Alberici Eichberg

I became an official Golddigger in the beginning of 1973. I only have the best memories of Dean Martin, Greg Garrison, (producer), Lee Hale, (musical director) and Ed Kerrigan, (choreographer). They are/were some of the nicest people in show business and amazing talents. Working with them on Dean's weekly TV show was an incredible experience! I have a lot of respect for them.

I appreciated the opportunity I was given and made the most of it. After the Dean Martin Television Specials ended in the late 1970's. I continued my television career by acting in featured roles in several prime time TV shows. Some of those shows were: Mike Hammer, St. Elsewhere and Knight Rider. I also hosted the KTTV Channel 11 Bedtime Movie and sang on the Mike Douglas show with my sisters, The Alberici Sisters.

All this I did while still performing with the Golddiggers. We regularly opened for Dean at the MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas and later at Bally's Las Vegas Hotel. Dean Martin and the Golddiggers were the MGM "Grand's box office champ in the Celebrity Room"and "MGM's top headliner attraction" in the mid and late 70's (as reported in Vegas Visitor Feb. 4 -10, 1977).The success continued at Bally's in the 80's.

During and after that time, my sister's Maria, Darlene and I, worked as an opening act in the big show rooms of Las Vegas and Atlantic City for major stars, continuing in The Golddigger tradition. I also wrote and recorded songs. Alberici's recording of my song "Englands Children", was featured in Billboard as a "Pick Of The Week". It was also featured as a "Hit Of The Week" on the front cover of Record World Magazine.

What am I doing now? I am still performing around the United States, along with some of my "Golddigger sisters", bringing back memories in song and dance of our times on stage with legends: Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Jay Leno, Steve and Edie, Rich Little, Norm Crosby, Joan Rivers, Milton Berle, Donald O'Connor...and of course Dean. Our act is called, "Showstoppers", Former Dean Martin Golddiggers.

I have an incredibly blessed life. In addition to singing and tap dancing in many different venues, I am raising funds for AIDS orphans, singing for my Church's worship team and working as a fitness trainer and educator, specializing in Yoga and Pilates. I am a mom to a precious daughter, Lindsay and a wife to a wonderful husband, Steven. God has been very good to me.
